Ephrata Community Hospital Bariatric Patient Room Renovations

This project included the complete demolition of four patient rooms and the construction of four new Bariatric patient rooms complete with wider corridor entry doors, new bathrooms, a patient lift system in each room supported by new structural steel, and all new mechanical, electrical, and medical gas systems. Also included is all new finishes to make the rooms feel a little more like home. Crown molding, vanities with cultured marble tops, and vinyl wood plank flooring bring a comfortable, residential feel to the rooms. The renovated bariatric shower room includes a wider doorway, walk-in custom shower and spacious plumbing fixtures. 

Ephrata Community Hospital Cancer Center Lab Renovations

Ephrata Community Hospital Sleep Center Granite Run

This 3,800 sq ft healthcare renovation had an eight week construction schedule. The project included the addition of four patient sleep/exam rooms, four patient bathrooms, Control Tech room, multiple set up rooms, lunch room, and reception area. Heck Construction worked closely with the hospital staff throughout the process to ensure the Sleep Center would be ready to treat patients without any delays.

Ephrata Community Hospital UPS Project

This project included providing general contractor support to the electrical contractor installing the UPS System. Heck Construction self performed the excavation, concrete, framing, drywall, doors and hardware, and painting portions of this facilities upgrade project. Challenges included, Boring under the existing structure to allow the large conduits to reach their destinations, coordination of trenching across the hospitals main loading dock access drive, and excavation around the main oxygen supply line and existing sewer and electrical duct banks.
